About Us

Our History

The program was officially launched on the 1st of June 2019 with the goal of ensuring that every Nigerian child is given the opportunity to become literate and maybe even love reading. It was driven from the founder's knowing that it is difficult to be successful today without basic literacy and that a love for reading not only expands the mind but opens a child up to so many possibilities in life. In most progressive countries, children have unlimited access to books; they can walk to libraries from their homes.

Her hope is that positively engaging children through books will also reduce child marriage, radicalization and terrorism, crime, poverty and other vices that stem from children not being positively engaged.

All Nigeria Reads is using literacy to positively engage the next generation of Nigerians.

Our Team

Our team is made up of teachers, librarians, and state leads spread across the country.
